"Love to Beg" In Stores Today, Highline Ballroom This Friday & Golden Eyes Music Video!

The new studio CD "Love To Beg" is available in stores nationwide and online today!  So far the press and reviews here and abroad have been nothing but great and we're also starting to get some good radio love.  We're super excited!

It's been so wonderful to be back home playing in the US and meeting so many "Lovers" I never even knew existed!   Looks like we'll be spending all year bouncing back and forth between the continents.  Lucky me!

As many of you know already, we'll be celebrating the release of our new CD this Friday at Highline Ballroom!

PLEASE NOTE NEW SHOWTIME - 7PM.
(We'll be ON STAGE by 7:20pm).

We've got some great guests on board for this one.  Here's the line-up:

THE USUAL SUSPECTS:
Yours Truly - Vox & Percussion
Jon Diamond - Guitar
Brett Bass - Bass
Tom Curiano - Drums

SPECIAL GUESTS:
Glenn Patscha - Keys (Olabelle)
Craig Dryer & Friends - Horns
Vivian Sessoms - Bkgnd Vox (Joe Cocker, Pink)
Jenny Douglas-McCrae - Bkgnd Vox (Pink)

I really can't wait to celebrate in my home town Friday night.  You guys are all my First True Lovers!

Many of you are asking about the new video I shot for Golden Eyes

We had 2 long, amazing days on rooftops overlooking the entire city and at Pier 59 Studios with fire-breather and circus marvel Keith Bindlestiff.   The video was co-directed by Mark Anton Read & Doug Trumbull.  I can't say much more about it now, but it was shot using experimental, never before seen 3D technology, invented by the legendary visual effects master Doug Trumbull, who worked with Stanley Kubrick, invented Imax  and shot the Rolling Stones "At The Max".

Stay tuned for more on this later.
But for now, here's a glimpse behind the scenes.

Hope to see you all on Friday for our annual NYC show and a big celebration for the Ruf Records release of "Love To Beg".  Please go out and buy a copy and tell everyone you know to do the same!  We need your support.

All My Love & Gratitude,
Dana

Dana its so exciting that your new album is finally coming out and you give us the extra treat in showing the making of your new video "golden eyes"! I only wish that the critics wouldn't refer to you as an "up and coming" artist when you've been kicking ass and taking names as a solidly epic artist. I am just glad you are getting the recognition you deserve and I'm so happy for you!
