It's been another incredible year of touring through the US and Europe...seeing so many wonderful, "old" friends, and making so many wonderful new friends. I can't really put into words how fortunate and inspired I feel by all of you and the amazing opportunities I've had this year - and the previous years as well - since I began hard core touring in 2009.
Thank you ALL for the support at EVERY show and for the wonderful, humbling feedback on my latest CD "Bliss Avenue". The Show & CD reviews this year have just been stellar.
Next year promises to be another full year of bouncing between continents and countries. I'm SUPER excited to continue making more "homes" for myself all over the US in the Midwest, Northwest, West Coast, South and North East, for both festivals and club shows! 2013 also introduced me to many new European homes where I was so wonderfully, well-embraced: Spain, Switzerland, UK, France and the Czech Republic. You can bet I'll be returning to these beautiful countries - in fact I've already been booked in many of them for several summer festivals. Of course, I'll be returning to some of my more familiar homes like Italy, Germany, Denmark, Norway & Holland for some of their bests and biggest festivals and our favorite venue. BUT...THIS YEAR AIN'T OVER 'TIL THE TALL LADY SINGS!
The show will be a stripped down, acoustic performance with my long time music and songwriting partner Jon Diamond, at SubCulture, NOHO's brand new beautiful performance space built just for live music.
I'll be pulling from the body of music we've written and recorded over the years including songs from my latest critically acclaimed release "Bliss Avenue" as well as my entire discography. We have such a special set and night planned and will also be prepared to take requests on the spot! (as long as it's a song we've written or covered so no FREE BIRD y'all.) :-)
This will be a rare opportunity to hear the songs as they began - with just a guitar and a voice - straight from the heart. While it's a bit of a scary, naked feeling doing these tunes without the volume and power of an electric rock band, it gives me such a fun & unique opportunity to present the true essence of these songs. As you all know, it's only rarely that I do a show this way. The show is selling out fast so get your tickets here now!
