Calling all Friends & Fans: July 7th - Benefit for My Brother Don at Tarrytown Music Hall

On July 7th I will be playing my first show the the famous Tarrytown Music Hall.  It has been a goal to play this room for some time and now I've finally been invited.

I have decided to make this a benefit for my brother Don who is battling terminal brain cancer.

It's no secret that health care in this country falls short for many who can not afford decent insurance coverage.  While Don does have insurance, as usual, there are many limitations as to what will be covered.

I will donate all of my proceeds toward helping get Don the best care possible.  The show's promoter Murray Bauer has generously decided to donate his proceeds to both my brother Don and his dear friend, former New York Yankees legend Roy White will be in attendance that night.

The following celebrities have also agreed to attend the Fundraiser for Don Fuchs and the Roy White Foundation:

o   New York Met Legend Ed Kranepool
o   New York Giants Sean Landeta
o   New York Yankees:  Bucky Dent, Mickey Rivers, Mike Torrez.
o   Hall of Fame baseball sportswriter and author Bill Madden.
o   ESPN columnist and author of the forthcoming book “Derek Jeter” Ian O’Connor.
o   Legendary entertainer Jay Black (Cara Mia, This Magic Moment, Come a Little Bit Closer, Walkin’ in the Rain).  *Jay Black has said that “Dana Fuchs is the most fantastic talent to come along in 30 years.”

The Roy White Foundation provides financial assistance to young adults and children whose desire to further their education is inhibited by financial complications.  It is our mission to help these individuals pursue their dreams and aspirations by easing the frustrating burden of monetary obligations.

Your support on this show will do more than you can imagine, so if you're free to attend, I promise you a powerful night of music and a celebration of love and life.  Interestingly enough, July 7th happens to be the anniversary of my sister Donna's death.   The date was certainly not planned that way, so I imagine it's all part of the mystery of the universe.

Please get your tickets for the July 7th Benefit here.

With All My Love and Deepest Gratitude,
Dana
